Truth-and-Love#11

We’ve all heard of the saying, ‘You don’t know what you got till it’s gone’. I say, you knew what you had just never thought it could skip away.

We often take for granted the very things that deserve our gratitude the most. We do this with people and material possessions. The problem is many people do not realize this until it’s too late.

There are many things that we fail to realize the true value of until they are missing from our lives. Sadly. 😢

Enjoy the little things in life because someday you will realize they were the big things.

Happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting what you don’t have,  rather it’s recognizing and appreciating what you do have.

Don’t lose something you have for something you think you want. What you have now was once everything you prayed you wanted.

Think of how lucky you are to have someone you can be completely comfortable around, that is a true gift and one that should be cherished at all times.

Think about how lucky you are to have the job you have and the life you live. You fought for where you are now. Love in the moment and appreciate the now.

Just because something becomes repetitive does not mean it needs to be replaced. Silence the noise inside your mind and realize what you have in front of you. Don’t wait until you’ve lost it to finally see how much you took it for granted.

Too many times people don’t realize what they have because they are out there looking for something they assume is better. The grass ain’t always greener kids.

Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have you will never, ever have enough.

Hope ya’ll are having a lovely Saturday.

  1. Tis’ true. Focus on what we have instead of what we don’t have.

Appreciate, don’t envy; Love and don’t hate.

When we focus on what we have, we’ll start to cherish rather than focusing on what we don’t have and constantly convincing ourselves that life is horrible when in actuality, it isn’t!

All in the mind. Believe your life is good, it will be. Hell, if a homeless person can somehow convince themselves that life is good, why can’t us?

    Right? 😄
